SCROLL

Translation & Script Adaptation

Our translation and script adaptation services are not limited to Russian. We work with multiple language pairs and across several content formats, depending on the needs of the project. This includes dubbing scripts prepared for recording, subtitle translation adapted to both text and on-screen audiovisual context, and song translation where direct meaning, rhythm, and singability all need to be considered.

For us, translation is not limited to literal accuracy. It also involves preserving character voice, adapting idioms and culture-specific references, and shaping dialogue so that it feels natural and readable for the target audience without losing the intent of the original. This becomes especially important in performance-based formats, where the text must not only be correct, but performable and believable in speech.

The process begins with the source material, any existing glossary references, and any project-specific requirements provided by the client. If terminology or naming conventions are not fully defined in advance, these points can be developed and agreed during the workflow. Where necessary, the translator flags ambiguous or sensitive sections for clarification so that the final text remains consistent with the intent, structure, and tone of the original.

The final result can be delivered directly to the client as a completed text package, or prepared for internal use within a dubbing workflow when the service is ordered as part of a wider production process.
