Dubbing for Screen Content

Our core service is Russian-language dubbing recording for a wide range of screen content. The client provides the production materials, and we handle the recording stage of the dubbing process. Casting and dubbing direction can also be arranged where needed, depending on the structure, scale, and requirements of the project.

We understand that recorded dialogue must remain consistent with the tone of the original, the character of the speakers, the world of the work, or the voice of the brand behind it. Russian requires particular attention to terminology, naming consistency, transliteration choices, and the broader linguistic logic of the material, especially when working from other languages. These points are discussed with the client in advance so that the result remains clear, stable, and aligned throughout the project.

The process begins with the client providing source materials, timing references, and project requirements. If the scripts are already translated and prepared for recording, we work from those materials directly. If not, preparation and adaptation can also be handled separately as an additional service. From there, the recording workflow is shaped around the specific needs of the project, including format, scale, casting requirements, and the level of directorial supervision involved.

The size and structure of the cast can be discussed according to the needs of the production. Where the format allows for a simpler voice-over approach, it may be more practical to work with a smaller group of performers rather than build a full dubbing cast and workflow. In other cases, a broader cast and a more layered recording process may be more appropriate. The level of adaptation, casting, and production complexity is therefore adjusted to the actual demands of the material rather than treated as fixed.

Where remote recording is acceptable, we are also able to involve a significantly wider pool of actors beyond those available locally in the Czech Republic. This makes it possible to scale casting more flexibly depending on the project, while still maintaining a coherent recording process and a stable performance standard across the final result.

The final delivery consists of the recorded dialogue tracks, prepared and sent according to the delivery method agreed at the start of the project.
